It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Robert Kennedy 11/22/52 - 12/18/24
Mike had a wide range of passions, including a deep love for animals, especially dogs. At the time of his passing, he was serving as the secretary of the Hoosier Kennel Club as well as being a member of the Indianapolis Obedience Training Club. He was a former member of the Anderson Kennel Club and the Anderson Obedience Club where he often taught "Puppy Class". His devotion to his pets was unwavering, and he shared his home with his beloved Chesapeake Bay Retrievers--Woody, Ollie, Spirit, and Tide, as well as his Amazon parrot, Gomez. He found great joy in the dog show community and was known for his role as a dog show photographer with Booth Photography, capturing moments that showcased the beauty and spirit of the animals he loved so dearly. He supported the sport of showing dogs by frequently serving as a dog show ring steward. He earned obedience titles, conformation championships and had started on scent work.
Mike will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.

All Motor Home, Travel Trailer and Handicapped and RV parking will be first come first serve basis ONLY. DO NOT SEND MONEY IN ADVANCE. Indiana State Fair will collect all fees and handle all parking.
Overnight RV camping is available for $45.00 per night, plus taxes. 30/50 amp electric hook-up. No water, no sewer and no dump station available. Showers available. RV reservations must be made on-line and in advance by going to https://www.indianastatefair.com/p/visit/camping-information.
You must make a reservation before arriving at the Fairgrounds. **NEW** They will not collect RV fees at the gate.
Fairground parking fee per vehicle $10.00 per day.
You can purchase parking passes at the gate starting Wednesday morning. You can purchase these to get in and out of the gates as many times as you want to without paying every time. The passes are $50.00 and are good for all weekend.
